A New Camera

If you remember our Labor Day trip to the Sand Park by Robbie's parents' home, you remember our close call with having our camera almost break. It has been acting up ever since, and a few weeks ago it permanently froze with a "zoom error" in the open position.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a new little pink Canon Powershot with the money that Mom and Dad gave us for just that purpose for Christmas. How did I know our camera would die in January? I didn't, but I was hoping to buy a really nice camera to take professional (blurry background, ultra clear, black and white option) style pictures of the kids growing up every day. With our concerns about the economy, we decided to replace our old camera with a nice camera that cost not one cent more than what Mom and Dad gave us. We'll think about the professional-style one sometime in the future.

It is a great camera and I've loved taking pictures again. I used to take pictures almost every day during our outings and I want to start doing it again. If I didn't remember what we did one day, I could look in our picture folders and remember that that was the day we went to the duck park or Fairytale Town.

Here are a few sample pictures we've experimented with:

These are of London at 10 months.
