The Fix-It Man

Blake has really liked taking things apart lately.

We bought a new printer last week and while Robert set it up, Blake enjoyed taking the screws out of the old one and disassembling the pieces. Robert couldn't resist the fun and left the new printer for the old one to see if he could figure out how to get some of the harder pieces apart.

A few days later one of Blake's toys stopped working and he asked if he could take it apart. He spent about 30 minutes taking all of the screws and wires out. Today he said, "Is there anything I can take apart?" He tried to take apart two other seldom used toys but found them to be pretty indestructible. Robbie said that he's suddenly remembered while watching Blake the last few days that when he was little he used to go to garage sales with his mom and buy an old VCR or something simliar for a dollar and then take it apart for fun. That is really neat! Like Daddy, like son. Blake is really having fun and is very interested as he's working on figuring everything out.
