Sunday night before Labor Day we drove up to Fairfield and spent the night at Robbie's parents' house. We played on the back patio until it was too dark to see and then Blake and Grandma counted 22 stars in the sky.
We spent Monday swimming and playing at the park by Robbie's parents' house. This is my favorite park. It sits on the edge of a hill overlooking a valley of vineyards and surrounding hills. The wind is always blowing here and the weather is almost always perfect so we want to stay as long as we can.
These are the pictures that almost ruined our camera! After taking pictures of us playing in the sand, we could hear a crunching sound as the lens was trying to close and open. It said, "error" on the screen and we thought it was a goner. Thankfully the camera is working fine now and we have these great pictures to remember the morning.
